Throughout this site you will be able to check out what we have worked on, who we have worked on, and what other social items that we have seen on the internet that we would love to share with you. Maybe even showcase some of our suppliers and clients too. Isn’t that what its all about?

The Sumo Salad marketing team recently started working closely with the macintype design team and strategy from Cheryl Hayman from the Hayman Strategy Group to create the new Sumo Salad website. This included preparing a new content management system with WordPress; enabling the client to change content with ease.
Macintype also incorporated the nutritional planner, store locator and franchisee information as well as setting up the blog for Pete Evans, Georgie Moore, Luke Baylis and Amelia Burton. Amelia Burton is the newest addition to Sumo Salad providing health and fitness information. If you are looking for ways to help with nutrition, diet and health, make sure you check visit a sumo salad store today!
The following information provides some information about Sumo Salad and how they started…
After spending a couple of years in the Big Apple surrounded by doughnuts, shakes and super-sized fries, a couple of twenty-something Sydneysiders, Luke Baylis and James Miller wanted to create a healthy yet delicious eating alternative for all Australians. They had quickly realised that Australia was following the unhealthy American trends of obesity, poor diet and exercise and they wanted to help make Aussies change their eating habits.
The idea was to offer fresh ‘design your own’ salads, made to order, which used only the freshest, most nutritious ingredients, satisfying every hunger. Of course, they had to be amazingly delicious and convenient. The name the guys chose was Sumo Salad, perfectly reflecting their large and filling salads.
2003 saw the opening of the first Sumo Salad store on Liverpool Street, Sydney CBD. It was an instant success! People couldn’t get enough of the green stuff and it wasn’t long before customers were queuing out the door and down the street for their Sumo Salad fix. With continued demand for a healthy and convenient fast food alternative, the rest is history with stores opening around the nation and internationally.

Better known for developing Norwest Business Park, Alan Zammit has now developed an app called Medi24 that he believes will one day save someone’s life.
Medi24 gives you peace of mind from knowing medical services are near when needed, where ever you are in Australia.
Alan says that Medi24 has been specifically designed for parents with young families and more senior users for whom immediate access to medical services 24 hours a day is paramount. “My grandson got sick one evening up on the Central Coast and his mother had to ask the hotel concierge where she could find a doctor after hours.” For Alan, that simply wasn’t good enough.
In addition to providing telephone links to confirm service availability, Medi24 gives you the location of services available during mormal hours, after hours, and emergency situations. Medi24 then ranks the selected medical service by distance from your present or nominated location, providing you with the name of medical practice, telephone number, opening hours and address.
“What’s really great” says Alan “is that you then have a map showing you how to get there – fantastic when you are on holiday and not too familiar with the area”.
Alan Zammit believes his app is ideal for people working away from home such as builders and surveyors. As far as he is concerned, this is a must-have app that you hopefully won’t have to use.
Download and check out the app today!
If you are a medical partitioner or allied health professional you can also add your details to the app by visiting the Medi24 website. Click here for details.
